Pastor Brian Merchant
We at New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church, believe there is a Heaven and a Devil's Hell (Luke 12:15).

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way a person can enter into Heaven and live with God forever (John 14:6).

We do not accept or affiliate ourself with any religious denomination or group that rejects the truth and supremacy of Jesus Christ as King of Kings and Lord of Lord's (Revelation 19:16).

We believe without the shedding of Christ's blood, there can be no remission of sin (Hebrews 9:22).

We believe that anyone can be saved from sin based on the scripture and that God is not a respector of people (Ephesians 2:8-10).

We do not believe that people who choose to live a life of sin, and are in direct disobedience to scripture will enter into Heaven (Galatians 5:19-21).

These are just a few scriptures I wanted to share with you in conjunction with the Romans Road.

I encourage you to prayerfully view the listed scriptures and
consider the word's of the Lord carefully.

We need to take the Word of the Lord seriously and to heart.

God has a plan, this plan has been in effect since the beginning of time as we know it.

You need to be informed and ready to give an account of what you have done while in this body on earth.

There is coming a day when Jesus will come back and get those who belong to Him.

Do you belong to Jesus today? By belonging I mean, have you been "born again" not in the flesh but in the Spirit of truth?

I want to ask you to consider this message carefully and walk away informed and prepared.

God has done His part, have you completed you part?

What is your decision?

What is the Romans Road? The Romans Road can be found in the book of Romans in the Holy Bible. It is a series of scriptures that can be used to explain, direct and end in an informed decision.

A decision for what? A decision between Heaven or Hell, and life or death. I will list the scriptures below and see what you come up with at the end.

Romans 3:10 (NIV)
10 As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one;

Romans 3:23 (NIV)
23 for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God,

Romans 6:23 (NIV)
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

What have we learned so far? There is no one righteous or right with God, Everyone has fallen short of God's glory, or everyone is sinning, and the wages or earning for that is death or separation from God, but God has a free gift available and it is through His son, Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:8 (NIV)
8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:12 (NIV)
12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man(Adam), and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned--

Romans 5:19 (NIV)
19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man (Adam) the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man (Jesus - Born of the Virgin Mary) the many will be made righteous.

So God has a free gift available for you, it is called salvation by grace (love). He demonstrated this love or grace through His Son' death on the cross (obedience). The reason why Jesus had to die, is due to the disobedience of Adam in the garden of Eden (sin entered the world - Jesus overcame sin). However, through the obedience of Christ, many can be righteous or right with God.

Romans 10:8-13 (NIV)
8 But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming:

9
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (Your part).

10
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved (Your Part).

11
As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame" (God's part).

12
For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him (No Excuses),

13
for, "Everyone (Whosoever) who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" (God's Part).

Based on scripture, what is you decision today? Just follow the instructions given by the scriptures (Vs. 9 and 13). Click on the contact page and let me know what your decision is.
